…as opposed to a leisure activity. Because it’s good for the enviroment, and good for you health, and just seems to make sense in so many ways. Rather like pressure cookers, which equally make sense, but are more liable to explode than a walker.

I’m a textile (fiber) artist, living near the Welsh Borders, UK. I’m experimenting with the blog formats on here, and I like them, so far, so I’ll type here for a bit, to see how it pans out.

I completely agree that walking is meant to be something we do every day, “on the way” to whatever else we’re doing. After living in Asia, Europe and Canada, it’s difficult being back in the USA where we have to Drive to Walk. Trying to make the best of it, but I really miss just “going about!”
Love your art, the patterns, and feeling of your blog! Keep going!
    God Bless, Linda
